So fine I suck at blogging...

It's been 2 months since my last post.  Time is going so fast but at the same time I feel like I've been here forever already.  In case you've been living under a rock I will just let you in on the little secret that I LOVE NEW YORK!  I didn't know it was possible to ever love a place so much!  I love that I can walk just about everywhere I need to go or if it is really far (or raining/snowing/sleeting/hailing/or any other type of insane form of water falling from the sky-ing) then I can just hop on the train and be wherever I need to be in 10-15 minutes.  I have not been in a car (not even a taxi yet) since I got picked up from the airport.  I saw a gas station in the city for the first time two days ago on my jog along the Hudson.  Let me just say gorgeous scenery is such a motivation for exercise!  There is a WholeFoods about ten blocks away and only if they open some in Utah will I even consider moving home.  Ha ha just kidding!  ...Sort of.  Right so here are the high lights so far...
1) I (literally) bumped into Joshua Jackson (AKA hottie from that creepy Fringe show) at WholeFoods
2) My birthday!  As of February 14, I am officially 21!  Woo!  I spent my day at the Met (Museum of Art) where I fell back in love with modern art, particularly Georgia O'Keefe's paintings.  Then me and some friends all went for Chinese at a delicious restaurant right on the Hudson.  It had a great view of the Statue of Liberty and Staten Island.  Afterwards. a couple of us went to Roxy's and got black and white cookies (of Seinfeld fame) and then checked out the Empire State Building.  It was a fun night!
3) The Wednesday before my birthday, Rachel and Amar (the parents) took me out to Nobu.  This is a top-notch,world-famous, celeb-fave Japanese restaurant.  I will probably forever compare all Japanese food I eat to that meal.  We had yellowtail jalapeno sashimi, another sashimi I can't remember the name of, black cod with miso, rock shrimp tempura, broiled bluefin toro, and then shrimp tempura, tuna and california sushi rolls.  Heaven probably has a Nobu there too.
4) I've been to the Museum of Natural History twice now.  Once just Lucas and I, and the second time with Lucas, Owen, Owen's friend Chance, and Chance's nanny.  I had a butterfly the size of my hand land on my mouth the first time.  Lucas thought it was pretty funny.
5) Went to Staten Island on President's Day.  I walked around the whole island on the little walkway and the place was deserted.  Really beautiful and peaceful though.

There's more but Charlotte just woke up from her nap so I gotta run.  I love my job!  :D
